Silver has been proven as a powerful, natural prophylactic/antibiotic, a natural germ-fighter in the field of healing. By the turn of the 20th century silver was being placed in solution, known as a Colloid. At this time the medical profession commonly used it as a mainstay of antibacterial treatment. Silver has long been known for its special healing properties. Throughout the centuries, Royal households stored their provisions in silver containers. Using silver eating utensils, having meals served on silver plates and drinks served in silver cups. The skin of “blue bloods” reportedly had a bluish tinge, due to the minute traces of pure ‘course’ metallic silver they regularly consumed. In the early pioneering days, new settlers travelling would put a silver coin in their milk to delay spoiling.
It was widely used in the medical profession 60 to 70 years ago when, among other reasons, the cost became prohibitive. Also the more specific and fast acting pharmaceutical chemical antibiotics became prevalent in the 1940s. The pharmaceutical industry began to take over medicine wanting faster-working drugs that were patentable for more control and vast profits. In addition, Colloidal Silver when manufactured improperly (as it still is to this day) with additives and stabilizers, affects most people by creating adverse damaging side effects. Prestigious Medical Journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, British Lancet, French, German, Italian and Swedish Medical Journals as early as 1890 published papers detailing scientific studies and examined the many successful uses of Colloidal Silver.
Original Colloidal Silver is a natural powerful, prophylactic, germicide and antibiotic with no proven side effects. Around the world it has been reported to be effective on over 650 diseases. It has been found to be both a remedy and a prevention for colds, flu, all infections, all fermentation due to any bacteria, fungi or virus, especially Golden Staph, and Strep, which are commonly found in hospitals. Drinking water can be purified by adding six drops of Original Colloidal Silver to one glass of water, allowing it to stand for twenty minutes It is virtually tasteless, with meals it is a great digestive aid - no fermentation of food in the intestine. International Medical Research has shown that Colloidal Silver promotes rapid healing with less scar tissue even on severe burns. Alfred B. Searle published a book in 1919, ‘The Use of Colloids in Health and Disease’, outlining the effective results of Colloidal Silver against bacteria. He concludes by saying 'for internal administration. (Colloidal Silver) has the advantage of being rapidly fatal to all parasites without any toxic action to the host’.
In Canada, Switzerland, Europe and the USA, physicians use various forms of silver to treat a multitude of infections including cancer and AIDS. In the U.S.A, silver is used in bone surgery and in burn centres throughout the world. Naturopaths and Chiropractors use Colloidal Silver, Ayurvedic, Chinese and Homeopathic practitioners also regularly use silver in their treatments. Swiss biochemists are researching silver's ability to interrupt the cellular replication of HlV at various stages.
On February 2, 1995, E. Henderson, Ph.D. Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at Temple University's School of Medicine, U.S.A. published a letter reporting very exciting data using colloidal silver. Dr. Henderson's experiments tested the ability of colloidal silver to block production of HlV in human T-cell lymphocytes (white blood cells). At very low doses. Reporting his findings that the colloidal silver dramatically blocked viral production with little if any toxicity. Colloidal Silver water-filters are approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency and also by the Swiss government for use in homes and offices. The American space agency NASA uses a silver water-purification system for its space shuttles, so do the Russians. The airline companies Air France, Alitalia, British Airways, Canadian Pacific, Japan Air Lines, KLM, Lufthansa, Olympic, Pan Am, SAS and Swissair use silver water-filters to combat waterborne diseases. Silver is now replacing chlorine in swimming because it does not damage the eyes. Japanese companies are using silver to remove cyanide and nitric oxide from the air.
We used to obtain silver and other minerals in our bodies through the natural food we ate that came directly from organic soil. This soil was rich in living organisms. The organisms used to break down the soil so that plants were providing minerals in a form assimilable to the plant and to us. Hence, we used to get silver naturally from the minerals present in organically grown plants. Now we eat vegetables that have been grown on chemical fertilisers, (95% of them are without living organisms taken from the soil) we do not get the quantity or quality of natural vitamins and minerals that where once available in naturally grown foods. As we age our ability to assimilate minerals becomes limited, we develop a silver deficiency and an impaired immune system that can lead to many diseases including cancer. Research has shown that people who had low levels of silver are frequently sick, have innumerable colds, flu, fevers and other health problems. It has been clinically proven a silver deficiency is the reason for improper functioning of the immune system, and that silver works without any side effects or damage to the cells of the body, stimulating major growth of injured tissues.
WHAT IS COLLOID?. Colloidal Silver is the result of an electro-magnetic process that pulls microscopic particles (.001-.005 micron) from a rod of pure silver into the liquid. These microscopic particles can more easily penetrate and travel throughout the body. Colloidal Silver works as a catalyst, disabling the enzyme that all one-celled bacteria, fungi and viruses use for their oxygen metabolism. Unlike antibiotics, resistant strains have never been known to develop. Because no known disease-causing organism can live in the presence of even minute traces of the natural element of simple metallic silver, this colloid state is found throughout nature, many of the body's fluid such as lymphatic fluid are colloidal in nature. Because of this, the body can more readily use products that are already in the colloidal form. True colloids are non-toxic, in other methods a stabiliser is added to keep the silver particles in suspension. This stabiliser reduces the effect of the silver and in all probability bring on adverse side effects. In the 'ORIGINAL COLLOIDAL SILVER’, minute particles of 99.95%+ pure silver ranging from .001-.005 microns in diameter and naturally chelated minerals from the water are suspended by a 21st century hi-tech electrolysis method in distilled rainwater using the ‘Grander Living Waters’ method as a carrier. Resulting in between 10-15 mg/L and a slight misty amber colour. The statement, less is more, is often made when referring to colloidal silver and colloidal technology in general. What this means is that the number of silver particles determines the quality and effectiveness of colloidal silver, not simply the concentration. Example, a product with a concentration of 10-15 mg/L with an average particle size of .001-.005 microns would actually have more micron silver particles than another product of 25 or more mg/L and thus be safer and more effective. To avoid 'settling' some manufacturers add a protein or chemical stabiliser, allowing a higher concentration of silver with a greater level of stability. The negative side is that all stabilisers bond to and therefore reduce the anti-microbial effect of silver. Such products containing higher levels of total silver to compensate should he taken with extreme caution because this could bring on silver toxicity, (Argyria). The products in question contained high concentrations of silver compounded with stabilisers such as silver nitrate or silver acetate. Argyria has never been reported from pure electro-colloidal silver free of protein or other stabilisers. TESTING YOUR SILVER. DO NOT SHAKE THE BOTTLE, YET! To find out what you might be buying, do the following test in the Health food Shop before your purchase: Read the label, if is states that it is activated in De-ionised water, the Colloidal Silver is NOT in suspension. Once ionic particles have been removed de-ionised water does not conduct sufficient electricity to keep Colloidal Silver in true suspension for any length of time and will eventually settle, you will observe as sediment. If you have a hand laser pointer, (this is a tool that is used as a pointer at lectures). Place the laser on the side of the bottle from the top and point it downwards, switch it on, you should see a red beam that has a very fine shimmer, the shimmer is the micron silver moving in electric suspension. Next pick the bottle up slowly by the top, very slowly turn the bottle on its side while holding it up to the light, as you do this look at the liquid inside the bottle of the bottom, if you see any movement of what I call ‘dross’, these are particles or lumps at the bottom. The Colloidal Silver has settled. THIS IS UNSAFE it is not safe to put into eyes. Next, shake the bottle, shine the laser beam through the bottle once again, the same as before. If you see silver ‘flashes’ it means that it has coarse silver, micron silver is not seen by the naked eye, only under a spectron microscope or when a laser beam is passed through it. Sometimes strong colour is imparted either by the presence of impurities and contaminants created as a by-product of inferior manufacturing techniques or colouring of the suspension base.
