Zea Relief is an Australian family business that has developed a natural range of Australian Kunzea products and pure essential oils. All Zea Relief products are natural, therapeutic quality, toxin-free, and cruelty-free. They have been naturopath-formulated for maximum quality and safety.
Australian Kunzea is the signature ingredient in Zea Relief Products (AUST L 294 644). The products are the first in the world to contain the therapeutic benefits of Kunzea Oil and have been formulated to be highly effective. The Zea Story
With over 25 years of experience in the natural health and wellness industry, The Brass family has established long-standing relations with essential oil producers throughout Australia and the world. This has allowed them to develop their own range of premium, therapeutic-quality essential oils.
After living and promoting their range of essential oils in Tasmania for several years, the Brass family received repeated requests for a relatively-new local essential oil called Australian Kunzea. Having not heard of it, the Brass Family began investigating the full potential of this Australian Native plant oil.
Also known as ‘tick bush’ and 'white cloud', the wild-growing plant is native to the cooler coastal regions of New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania, and grows profusely in the rugged climate of northeast Tasmania and the Bass Strait Islands. It is believed that Aboriginal communities traditionally used the Kunzea ambigua plant to relieve irritated skin, muscle tightness and pain.
Michelle Brass ND, Co-Founder of Zea Relief, was convinced from a very early stage of the medicinal potential of the Tasmanian Kunzea ambigua plant, after using the pure essential oil on clients in her Launceston naturopathy & massage centre.
After several years of testing, investing, promoting and learning about Australian Kunzea Oil, the Brass family worked with a local compounding pharmacist to develop a formulation that contained the pure essential oil and that could be safely used by customers to help relieve everyday physical ailments.
The demonstrated effectiveness of the Kunzea oil compelled the Brass family to launch their own commercial range of Kunzea Products, and thus Zea Relief was born!
Zea Relief products are the first in the world to embrace Kunzea oil and the benefits embedded in the plant’s unique organic structure. Going forward, the Zea Team are looking to conduct further studies and research into the oil to unearth its full therapeutic potential.Â
